Bugs can carry diseases cause allergies and trigger asthma attacks. Inside a carpet considered immaculate to the human eye is home to bugs. Both insects can breed fast and may remain hidden for a while before you start to notice them. Contrary to popular belief carpet beetles do not just live in your carpet which means that you can have a problem with these pests even if you only have hardwood or tile floors. They tend to live inside fabric furniture or deep inside carpets so look for damage to area rugs around the edges and to carpets along base boards. However carpet beetles can damage fabrics and bed bugs can bite people. Fleas dust mites and bed bugs.

Carpet beetles are not bed bugs. These pests enter homes through doors windows and similar entrances. If you think you have either bed bugs or carpet beetles contact your local ehrlich pest. Both pests can be worrisome and may create stress.

They can also be brought in by way of cut plants and flowers. If you notice bed bug like red spots and discover that you have carpet beetles but not bed bugs then they may be the cause. Carpet beetles like to live out of sight and feed on the natural fibers in fabrics even living off carpet fibers that are 90 percent synthetic. Adult carpet beetles can live both indoors and out but females prefer to lay eggs where larval food sources are abundant.

Some female bugs such as bed bugs lay up to five eggs daily. Some live inside the nests of birds or other animals and can live in walls or chimneys.
